The Always Home Campaign is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the Community House. Past generations took care of the House so it would be here for us to enjoy. Today, the Community House needs critical renovations in the Legacy Building - the oldest part of the campus - and it is our turn to invest in this beloved organization's future. The campaign has a goal of $10 million, and $7.2 million has been raised to date. Join us by making your contribution today!
The Always Home Campaign will support the renovation of:
The Historic Theater
The centerpiece of the campaign and the House's main performance space will be updated and improved for today's performances with new flooring, flexible seating, new lighting and sound, updates to the stage and green room, modernized HVAC and electrical systems, and improved accessibility.
The Theater Gallery
This area will be expanded to provide a comfortable space, including a new fireplace and seating area, for gathering before and after performances, during intermission, while children are in class, or any time.
The Pine Street Entrance
This reimagined, ADA-compliant entrance will welcome everyone under a weather-protective portico.
Other Critical Updates
• New kitchen to serve weddings and other special events
• Improved accessibility features and an updated elevator
• Updated fire safety system, new windows, and modernized bathrooms
You can participate in this once-in-a-generation project and make a real difference in the community by supporting the Always Home Campaign. Pledges are accepted over a three-to-five-year period. All gifts make a difference! There will be permanent recognition for three special groups of donors:
• Naming donors whose inspiring generosity will be recognized through signature naming opportunities
• 21st Century Founders who are carrying on the tradition of the pioneering founders who built the House with gifts of $100,000 or more
• Major Donors who give generous contributions of $50,000 or more
