Membership for High School Students
Unless the student can provide ID showing they are age 18+ (passport, IL driver's license or state ID card), a parent or legal guardian must be present to enroll the student for membership. Both the parent / guardian and the student must sign the membership agreement.
School ID is required as proof of grade.
Membership for Grades 7-8
Students in grades 7-8 must complete a youth training session before becoming a member. Either the youth or parent / guardian may fill out the training request form at the Fitness Desk. A trainer will contact the parent / guardian to arrange for the training session.
The parent must accompany the student to the training session to pay for the session and complete the membership enrollment process for the student. The youth membership will take effect immediately following completion of the training session.
Daily Visits for Grades 7-12
Daily visits are open to high school students with school ID, or to students in grades 7-8 who have completed the youth training session described above.
A parent or guardian is required to sign off on the Community House waiver before the student can use the Fitness Center. While we prefer this to be done in person, it can also be done online. Fitness Desk staff will provide a QR code to the student who can send the link to their parent or guardian, or parents / guardians may click here to sign the waiver in advance. Further instructions about completing the waiver online are available here.
Signing the waiver is only required once (not for every separate visit).
If a high school student can provide ID showing they are age 18+ (passport, IL driver's license or state ID card), they can sign off on their own waiver.
